I prefer to NOT be harrassed by unwanted phone calls even from companies with whom I have an established business relationship. In supporting the Do Not Call List, my intent was to rid myself of annoying telemarketing phone calls whether they are recorded or not. If a telemarketer calls me, I will deliberately not do business with them because of it. My simple advice is, if companies want to get the public to know about them, have those companies get a web presence and make sure it shows up in searches on Google.
