I do not want to receive pre-recorded messages from telemarketers. Please do not allow those interested in using pre-recorded messages to by-pass the do-not-call system that is currently available to those who wish to not receive calls from telemarketers (either by person or by recorded message). Unsolicited messages from telemarketers would have a detrimental effect on those companies that become involved with that type of marketing stratagy. I do not wish to have "dead air" on my answering machine or a "pre-recorded" message as well. It's a poor attempt from those telemarketers whose business has suffered due to the do-not-call opportunity legistration. Spamming my voice mail with no-cost internet phone messages from telemarketers who are attempting to surcomvent the present restrictions on their activity regarding the use of mine and others phone answering machines across this great country, is totally unacceptable.
