I would like to go on record by saying that the plan to allow telemarketers to start leaving prerecorded messages will be as bad as it was before the do not call list was instituted. Myself and my family have (4) numbers registered on the don not call list and have enjoyed the bliss of not having any telemarketers calling us day and night. I believe that you will also find that a lot of other people feel the same way as we do. I understand that they have a job to do however, I don't and my family dooesn't appreciate their solicitations. If I could post a "No soliciting" sign on my phone number I would have done so years ago. Since that can't be done the do not call list was the next best thing. What does it take for the FCC/FTC to understand that we as families and as a nation are fed up with telemarketers. You should know that by the fact that when the don not call web site first started that it was jammed with people like me trying to get their phone numbers added to the list so the "harrassment" would finally stop because you can tell these people to put you on their so called do not call list, and I've had them get nasty and downright rude because I asked to be put on that list. They are all nice or pushy until you tell them that you aren't interested and then they get rude then if you ask to speak to their supervisor they either give you the run around and won't let you or hang up on you. Personnally I don't appreciate it. The bottome line is I hope that you will continue to keep the do not call list intact and NOT ALLOW telemarketers to send prerecorded voice mails/messages to our phone numbers. Thank you for considering my comments. Glenn Zimbeck
