Comments:
I am against allowing companies to deliver pre-recorded telemarketing messages. It makes no difference when the phone rings. It must still be answered. The receiver does not know if there is a real person calling or if it is a pre-recorded message. There is no difference being harassed by a real person telemarketer or a pre-recorded telemarketer. It is still annoying, disturbing and tormenting. Why not have the telemarketing companies advertise a number to call if a person would like to sign up to receive their pre-recorded messages. Then we would see how popular this idea is with the general public that you are supposed to protect.
