I believe that opening a loophole in the national Do-Not-Call regristry would be disastrous. It would basically invalidate the entire registry. I have been pleased with the registry so far. I do not receive any telemarketing calls any more and I appreciate that. However, I would be very displeased if I were to start receiving annoying pre-recorded calls from companies. Even those I have an "existing business relationship" with. Whatever that means. This is a bad idea no matter how you look at it.
