Please do not allow any change which would make it easier for telemarketers to contact us either through pre-recorded messages or any other means. My home is my haven and I do not wish to receive solicitations via the telephone. My husband is partially paralized and it is particularly frustrating for him to try to get to the phone. Many times I have run to answer a ringing phone only to find a solicitation, either a live person or, the worst indignation, a pre-recorded message. We passed legislation to limit those calls. Please do not remove that protection. Thank you.
