Comments:
Recorded telemarketing messages are the very worst kind. Not only should they not be exempt from the Do Not Call Registry, they should be illegal. I have, at times, been unable to disconnect from recorded calls. I have hung up my phone and waited over 20 seconds, picked up my phone, and the message was still there. This is dangerous. Suppose I had been tyring to call 911? Americans are marketed to at every turn: television, radio, magazines, billboards, direct mail, web ads. That is enough. We do not need people interrupting our family time and private time by calling to advertise to us.
