We have enjoyed the current benefits of being participates on the national DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. It has been pleasant not having our dinner hour interrupted with telemarketing calls. Too bad, we could not have excluded the recently barrage of calls we received from various political sources during the weeks preceding the national elections. We urge you to NOT allow companies to send messages to their existing customers or those with which they already have business relationships. It is our understanding the customer could “opt out” if s/he does not want to receive these messages. If these calls are permitted, we feel that it should be the customer would “opt in” before any of these messages could be sent. Sincerely, Blaine R. and Judy C. Wells
