I am very upset to find that the FCC is considering gutting the Do Not Call list, by allowing recorded calls when there is a "pre-existing" relationship. You are letting the companies decide when there is a relationship - I asked to be put on the do-not-call list for a reason - I don't want ANY calls at all, trying to sell me ANYTHING. This includes calls by politicians and non-profits. I don't see why these scumbags are allowed to call me. In addition, if the direct marketing people want to change the abandonment relationship, what is in it for the people of the U.S. Make the change, but only if the allowable percentage is decreased, preferably to Zero.
