|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:This loophole can render the Do Not Call Registry useless. The original intent of the DNRC was to avoid telemarketing calls, and now it can be used as a list of targets for telemarketers to call. The term "existing business relationship" is a vague term that can and most likely will be abused.
