Please don't give companies any more rights as regards to intruding into my home with telemarketing calls. Prerecorded calls are especially galling, as they do not provide the opportunity to request that the company in question avoid this type of intrusion in the future. It's bad enough as it is with those companies that choose to ignore existing regulations, and the proposed regulation would provide violators with another opportunity to claim a bogus defense. It would be unfair to consumers to allow this to happen.
