I strongly object to the proposed changes. In fact the current laws should be strengthend to entirley eliminate unsolicited calls. Privacy laws should be created that do not place the burden on the consumer . In place of the defaults used now by bussiness, meaning that if a person did not place their name on Do Not Call list they can be called. The laws should be chnaged so that the only way personal privacy can be invaded is by written permission to do so. As an example I recently recieved a notice with a form from a Oil Company credit card. In order to preserve my privacy I must fill in the form and request no information be shared or used. The laws should be changed so that is reversed. In other words stop placing the burden on the consumer.
