I am against the proposed "prerecorded message" amendment. I view this proposal as another unnecessary nuisance from marketeers. The public is already bombarded with enough means for marketeers to make unwanted contact with individuals who have no interest in what the marketeers have to sell. I am extremely disappointed that this proposal (loophole) to the Do Not Call Registry is even being considered by the FTC. Equally disappointing (as reported in the news) is the fact that the FTC does not believe this proposal will have any negative affects on the public. The FTC should listen to the public and not the lobbyists and vote NO.
