I find your prose difficult to understand (even though I have many many years of education). However, if your proposed changes mean that my registration in the "Do Not Call" list is being invalidated for automated messages, I am definitely opposed. My answering machine will only hold about 5 full 2-minute messages (as opposed to about 40 regular messages). The automated sales calls will fill up the machine space quickly, and my machine forces me to listen to them before I can erase them. This is definitely an invasion of my privacy, and an imposition on the way I manage my household affairs. In fact, I would like to add another number to this "Do-Not-Call" list called "Do Not Fax". Junk faxes waste about a roll of fax paper a month in my house and it really burns me up. Emily Johnston
