|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I completely oppose this ammendment. A pre-recorded message cannot be told to not call back nor can it put you on a Do Not Call list. The comsumers should have have to bear the burden of telling companies to stop calling. This amendment will merely open the flood gates back up to the telemarketing industry to bombard the average citizen with phones calls we do not need nor want. It would render the current Do Not Call list nearly impotent and would have wasted countless amounts of money needed to enforce it. When will the wants and rights of the consumer actually be heard?
