Please do not amend the Telemarketing Sales Rule to allow prerecorded messages. Before the national 'do not call' list was initiated, I spent half my day answering telemarketing calls. I use my telephone for necessary and pleasure purposes and get very aggravated having to answer it only to hear a sales pitch ten times a day. I consider telemarketing calls an invasion of my privacy. We have enough advertising spewed at us on a daily basis: television commercials, billboards, radio, and now the internet. Our telephones should be off-limits. Thank you.
