After the annoying calls we have been bombarded with for the past 20 years or more, otherwise known as telemarketers, we were finally able to say we didn't want to be called 5 to 15 times per day. Now it seems as though that is thrown out the window and we will be hassled by pre-recorded messages! For anyone's information, we purposely do not buy or respond to any of these types of calls. I can't believe that anyone does. Do we need to purchase another form of communication? We can't have telephones, computers, or even cell phones anymore without being constantly annoyed by people trying to sell us things we don't even want. Where will it all end? If this is made into a new "law" then I want to be able to get the caller's phone number, name, etc., so I can lodge a formal complaint and protest. This is only fair since they will have access to our numbers.
