Advertising is already pervasive enough. I understand the need for advertising as it pays for a lot of the content found on the internet, in print media, on television and on the radio. There are advertisements as I drive my car along this country's roadways. There is already enough advertising. I don't think people should also be bothered by telephone. In my own life and in the life of my friends it has become common practice to screen telephone calls either by means of an answering machine, caller id or both. This creates an extra step in the communication process that shouldn't be needed. Unfortunatly it is needed because of advertising tactics. Please reject this idea. Do Not Call means do not call.
