I am unalterably opposed to providing a loophole for telemarketers, particularly for the annoying pre-recorded calls I'm so pleased to do without. I was recently barraged with a boatload of these, by my phone company (!), with calls coming several times a day. When I called the company to complain, the first rep I talked to was completely unaware that they had initiated the calls, and it took a second complaint to reach someone who knew what I was talking about, and a further week or so before the calls stopped. The last thing I want is more of this!!!
