This comment is in regard to: 'Prerecorded Message EBR Telemarketing, Project No. R411001'. I STRONGLY OBJECT to the loophole that is being proposed to allow the use of pre-recorded messages for telemarketing calls. The reason I added my phone number to the Do Not Call Registry is because I don't want to be bothered with telemarketing calls of ANY kind from ANYONE. It doesn't matter if I have an 'established business relationship' with a company or not. I don't want to receive ANY telemarketing calls. Therefore, I don't want to make it easier or cheaper for a company to place telemarketing calls to their customers. Rather, I would like to make it as expensive and as inconvenient as possible to place such calls; so that hopefully, companies will eventually give up the obnoxious practice of telemarketing phone calls altogether. Please REJECT this proposal for allowing pre-recorded messages.
