Please do not change any rules which would allow telemarketers to deliver pre-recorded messages to American homes. I was ecstatic to have been able to have been put on the Do Not Call Registry. It gave me the freedom I had lost to the telemarketing industry. The proposed change would again subject me to answering what I might think is a real phone call from a friend when I am taking a needed nap, in the shower, on a ladder, or on the toilet. It was bad enough that the presidential candidates and their representatives used a loophole in the law and called me over 30 times on election day with live and pre-recorded messages. Both candidates should be ashamed of themselves. Please do not add this proposed loophole to the law.
