I am emphaticall opposed to any "watering down" of the current no call list restrictions. In fact I would like the current exemptions tightened. To think that anyone who signed up for the no call list would wellcome machine generated messages, from any source, is to sorely misunderstand the public mood regarding unwanted calls. I myself have told several credit card companies that, if they insist on calling me with unsolicited "special offers" based on our existing business relationship, that I would remove that relationship by canciling the card. Most of them listened, some got canceled. If politicians understood how angry people get receiving dinertime robo-calls they would stop that practice as well. DO NOT PASS THIS EXEMPTION.
