Comments:
Pre-recorded calls are the most heinous form of telemarketing. Not only are the calls highly invasive, often wasting answering machine memory or temporarily hijacking the recipient's phone lines, (the dialer does not hang up until the recording has ended) but they eliminate the only positive aspect of telemarketing -- jobs. These calls should be outlawed all together. Opening a loophole to allow more of them would be a outrageous disservice to the public.
