Please do not allow any changes in the current law ( unless it is to make it stricter). I do not want unsolicited calls from anyone, even if I have had a previous business contact. Do not have me answering unwanted calls at dinnertime. Do not have me rush to the phone only to have some telemarketer on the line. And I do not want my answering machine filled with messages leaving no room on my cassette for messages from family or friends. A change I would like to see is to prevent the unwanted campaign calls that just inundated us during the last election. Most people I know were just sick to death of them. It is a definate turnoff to voters. Of course, most politicians have an overly inflated opinion of their importance.
