I am against adding this "loophole" to the regulations surrounding the do-not-call list. We have seen in the past that people will come up with absurd "prior relationships" if it means that they can spam an end user. For example, I have in the past been told that the prior business relationship involved signing up for services with a different provider, who resold my information! That vendor's business practices aside, I don't want a loophole added that is going to allow their associates to call me! I see no benefit whatsoever to adding this loophole to the consumers, which is the audience that this regulation was supposed to be protecting. Please do not allow this to become law.
