Marketing has abused phone traffic for far to long. Any relent on their part is a serious misgiving and is ABSOLUTELY AND IN NO WAY representative of what Americans want! If I turn on the television I realize that I will see advertisements. If I surf the internet I realize that I will see them there as well. These forms of media have a ballance: if there is too much advertisement so that it gets in the way of the entertainment (and marketing is sometimes both) then people do not have to watch that particular station or peruse that particular website. Phone communication (as well as other forms of communication--such as the email and spam issue) has become somewhat of a necessity in our society. WE DESERVE TO HAVE THE FREEDOM OF HAVING A PHONE DEVICE WITHOUT HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT BEING INTERRUPTED BY A SALES PITCH. STOP HELPING POLLUTE THE TECHNOLOGY THAT BRINGS PEOPLE CLOSER TOGETHER!!!
