|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I do not support any changes in the federal 'Do Not Call' rule that will allow vendors more flexibility in using telemarketing. Rather, I prefer changes to the law that will further limit/restrict telemarketing to the point at which no telemarketer would be allowed to call any phone, including those owned by a person or persons with whom the 'company' has a 'relationship,' without first being given permission to make such calls by said person or persons. In other words, I prefer an 'opt in' approach rather than the current 'opt out' approach.
