It would appear that government does not believe in the philosophy of "if it's not broke, don't fix it". the present law seems to be working. There has not been enough time to truly evaluate. The suggestions for changes seem to be coming from commercial interests which have instruments and finances for lobbying. I consider myself pretty much an average joe citizen. For me, the logic would be to let the situation stand as it appears to be working. If there is serious belief and evidence that a change is necessary, why not convene a panel of people like me who do not have any monitary or duty influences to review the need and desires and come up with specific and reasonable recommendations.
