Comments:
I am opposed to the proposed changes in the Telemarketing Sales Rule. Live or pre-recorded sales messages are an intrusion on my personal time. A change I would like to see would be the elimination of all telemarketing calls, whether from a business or organization that I have an established relationship with or not. The only calls that I think should be allowed are those from an organization that has specifically asked me for permission to make such calls and to whom I've said OK. The burden should not be placed on the consumer to opt out.
