Telemarketing calls are annoying. I will never buy anything that a telemarketer tries to sell me, no matter how good the price is. If i had a choice between having telemarketers call me up and having junk mail sent to my house, i'd have the junk mail sent to my house--just because, if the junk mail increases by 50-fold like the telemarker calls have for me, then the postal workers will get very upset about all the mail they have to lug around on a daily basis, and then they will impose fines for such bulk mail deliveries. The phone company will do no such thing, as they don't have to do any 'heavy lifting' to get the calls to come through. In short: Telemarkerts are like Spammers, and their 'cost of buisness' should be increased to the point where they have to advertise on 'normal' outlets like real companies do.
