Any changes which permit marketing calls to be made to people who do not want them in any shape, manner, or form is an affront. We have a right not to be force-fed telemarketing adverts. By listing our phone numbers to the no-call list we have indicated that we do not want these calls in any manner. Permitting recorded phone telemarketing to be placed on our private answering machines is wrong. Do not change the no-call regulations to permit this. If someone goes to the trouble of posting their number to the no-call list, it means just that. Do not call under any circumstances. It's time that our elected officials start working for all of us, not just the special groups with the cash. Perhaps, elected officials who twist regulations to suit special interests need to be out of jobs and unemployed on the streets. This is getting tiring and old. Better yet, they need to resign and get a job at one of these telemarketing companies. But we still do not want to listen. Thank you.
