As a private citizen, I strongly oppose the proposal to add a safe harbor for prerecorded messages when there " is an established business relationship". This "established business relationship" is a bunch of baloney. Just because I have a charge account or have made a prior contribution or have previously purchased a product from a company does not mean that I welcome or consent to a further invasion of my home and my privacy from unsolicited calls. If I want to talk to a business or charitable organization, I am perfectly capable of placing a telephone call or sending an email message. I repeat - this is an unwelcome invasion of my privacy and I strongly oppose the proposal or ANY variation thereof. Thank you.
