|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I believe this ammendment violates the trust that consumers gave the FTC when the do-not-call registry was enacted. My first and only reason for adding my name to the registry was to avoid calls of any unsolicited type. Even if the vendor has a "working" relationship with me, it is not their right to infringe on my personal time by interrupting my daily activities. Calls of this nature are intrusive, annoying, and unwanted.
