I would almost rather not have a telephone than have my day continually disrupted with calls for things that I have no interest in nor any desire to hear about. The "do not call" list saves the time and money for the companies, because the "no thank you's" have been drastically weeded out. Please do not go back to the days when the answering machine had to pick up every call so that I wouldn't have to be harrassed by telemarketers! Thank you. Lynda Hoffman
