What part of "do not call" is hard to understand. We (the people) are fed up with the intrusive nature of marketing, and the problem is getting worse. New laws that would make it difficult or illegal to skip commercials when recording television broadcasts are being considered. This is just one of many examples. Remember, the whole point of the "No call" list was for the people to get releif from intrusive marketing. Look at the numbers: How many subscribed to the No Call list? How quick were we jumping on that bandwagon? Those numbers should be convincing in themselves that WE DON'T WANT CALLED! To ammend that now smacks of bowing down to marketing lobbyists for special interest groups, and going AGAINST the people. This seems underhanded and makes me feel betrayed. If I had wanted telemarketing calls I would NOT have subscribed to the NO CALL list.
