Comments:
This proposal is nothing more than an undermining of a program to protect the privacy and sanctity of the American home. The American people have already made their opinion clear on this issue. We do not want our telephones to be used by commercial vendors. We own our telephones and pay for the service of those telephones for OUR convenience and use. We do not want unwanted interruptions of our days, and use of those lines for someone else's benefit and profit. We should have the right to protect our property--the telephones and the lines we pay for monthly, from the invasion of commercial interests. PLEASE BLOCK THIS PROPOSED LOOPHOLE TO OUR NO-CALL PROVISIONS!
