This is a BAD IDEA. Any legislation that allows our households to be invaded by even more unwanted advertisements is a bad idea. The Do Not Call list in its current form seems to be working well, and nearly everyone who signed up for the list is satisfied with it. Changing it will only further anger those who are, for once, satisfied with something the government has done. Making the proposed change will nullify any of the benefits of the List, and could even make things worse by allowing companies to use previously unlisted numbers that citizens listed in good faith. I fail to see how making this change would be beneficial to *anybody*.
