I believe the DNC list is a good thing and I want it to remain a strong defense against telemarketing. Because the phone is such a convenient marketing tool does not mean that it should be used as such. I have jumped through many hoops (Caller ID, private number, etc.) to try to keep solicitors from calling me at home, all to no avail. I cannot simply turn off my phone as easily as I turn off my TV. I am not sorry that telemarketing firms are having trouble with their intrusive marketing techniques. Please do not change the DNC list in any way which would invite these hustlers back into my home without my permission.
