This proposed change is contrary to the original reason that the Do not call list was created. I cannot imagine why the allowance of taped messages is even being considered. The only logical reason seems to be that lobbyists have managed to push the right buttons, donate to the right people, or fund someones campaign. Putting it mildly this is senseless. I placed my name on the do not call list so I could have freedom from the numerous, unwanted interuptions on a daily basis. Still there have been a few who insist on calling as to which I remind them that they are breaking the law and threaten to report them, which I will do if they call back. That has not happened yet. Why must you change something that seems to be - for the most part - working? LEAVE IT ALONE!
