Do not call means do not call. People who signed up on the list do not want to be called by any telemarketers. This is how the do not call list was advertised and announced and any change allowing any telemarketing calls of any kind by any company regardless of their relationship to the individual is just wrong. If an individual wants to receive marketing information from a merchant they have a relationship with they have many opportunities to sign up for that merchant's "opt in" list. Please do not take away what little consumer protection the do not call list currently provides by allowing what is being proposed.
