This is such a bunch of political butt kissing. Are the telemarketers whining in the FTC's ear? So, let them. If I want information on products, services and whatever else, I am perfectly able to initiate a research on my own and contact the appropriate companies for information. I don't need to hear my name mispronounced at dinner time, just to be told that I am a most important customer for a company I never dealt with and sometimes never heard of and I certainly do not want to buy products over the phone. Stop this piece of legislation
