I am fully opposed to relaxing ANY restrictions on telemarketing calls for those who signed up for the do-not-call list (either state or federal). I placed myself on the list because I don't want ANY calls from those sleezy, slimey, lower forms of so-called life. I consider ANY exceptions that allow telemarketers to call my phone to be too lenient already. ANY penalties which allow these telemarketing companies to remain in business are too lenient already. The FTC should be working to ELIMINATE telemarketing calls, not to increase them.
