It took a great degree of effort to get the protections against intrusive and unwanted sales calls in place; I cannot see the logic or the benefit to be had by weakening them now. Given that the regulations have been supported in the courts, there can be no positive outcome from the proposed revisions. I ask that the Commission deny the DMA's petition; they wish only to fatten their bank accounts; we wish to be left alone and in peace.
