This amendment will create an automated phone spam which will be the same magnitude of problem as e-mail spam. By allowing this kind of change to the very useful “Don't Call List” you will be opening the door for irresponsible business and mass telemarketers to waste our time and disturb our peace. The whole idea of registering for the “Don't Call List” was to not be bothered by unwanted solicitation. The businesses that we consumers deal with do already have our phone numbers and address and don't need to spam us. The only way to fight these things is by putting the choice on the consumer and the proof of legality on the telemarketers. Please don't let these loop holes pass and create an equivalent to e-mail spam that wastes our time and money.
