If I understand correctly, this (RIN 3084-0098) would allow companies to contact previous purchasers by phone without their consent, even if the call recipient has registered on the national Do-Not-Call list. This defeats the purpose of the Do-Not-Call list and, for me, represents a clear violation of my privacy. That it allows pre-recorded messages adds insult to injury. Please do not allow this amendment to pass. Thank you.
