The do-not-call list is a wonderful protection for consumers. I can now answer my telephone without the threat of a nuisance call. Any change in the rules that makes it easier for telemarketers to ruin my day is not welcome. Marketers can send direct USPS mail, and they can, and do, send email. Marketers can post billboards, buy ads in newspapers and magazines and radios and TV. Leave our telephones alone. Dear FTC commissioners, do you enjoy getting telemarketer calls and messages? DO YOU? If so, please amend the law so all marketing calls go to you and not to us. How about an opt-in choice, so you can have all you like?
