It's simple: I am on the Do Not Call list because I do not want to be called. Not by automated systems, not by automated systems that tell me they want to talk to my answering machine, not me, and hang up, not by anyone and everyone I've ever bought something from -- I DO NOT WANT TOO BE CALLED by ANYONE trying to sell me ANYTHING. What happened to government "for the people" not government "for the Direct Marketing Association" anyway? It's my phone, and I don't want it to be used by people interrupting my life, disturbing my quiet enjoyment of my own home, and forcing advertising down my throat against my will. DO NOT CALL means DO NOT CALL without exceptions.
