I put my name on the Do Not Call list because I do not want to be called!! The fact that the DMA is proposing automated recordings simply reduces the cost to them -- ultimately increasing the quantity of offending phone calls to me. This is just like spam on the Internet. I strenuously oppose ammend the rules to allows these automated calls.
