Do not take any action to allow anyone to call us anymore than the Do Not Call List already allows. In fact, strengthen it! Remove the exclusion for polical ads. During this latest debacle of a presidential campaign, both my wife and myself were being called in excess of 6 times per day for 2 weeks by pre-recorded telemarketing devices in a vain and infuriating attempt to either annoy us, or sway our votes. All they succeded in was pissing us off. So please stop being a shill for money-grubbers and allow us to regain/retain our privacy. (The phone is an intrusion into my personal life and space, I will not support any fool that would allow unwanted intruders.)
