When I signed up for the federal "Do not call" list it was because I did not want ANY calls from direct marketers. Automated calls are no less disturbing to my time and peace than live calls. I'm sure that these calls would be targeted for dinner time, just like live telemarketing calls, a time I would like to spend in peace and quite with my family, not thwarting another attempt to sell me something. How about a "safe harbor" for my privacy?!
